Landscape lighting
The half below the roofline
A lit roofline draws the eye to the house. Lighting on the ground is what makes the whole property look finished after dark: the path to the door, the beds, one good tree, the edge of the drive in February.
What we light
Five places worth the fixtures
Path and walkway
The route from the drive to the door, lit low so it guides instead of glaring.
Beds and planting
Light washed up through what is already planted, so the yard keeps its shape after dark.
Trees
Uplit from the base. One mature tree lit well does more for a frontage than six fixtures.
Facade and feature
Stone, brick, a chimney, a gable. The parts of a house worth pointing at.
Drive and parking
Edges you can actually see in February, which on a U.P. drive is not a decoration.
Why it reads as expensive
Light you can see the edge of
Cheap landscape lighting floods everything evenly and the yard goes flat. Good landscape lighting leaves most of the property dark on purpose and puts light exactly where somebody walks or exactly on the one thing worth looking at.
The shadow a shrub throws across the concrete is doing as much work as the fixture that made it. That is the difference between a lit yard and a yard with lights in it.
Do it in one visit
Roofline and ground together is cheaper than a year apart
Most people start at the roofline and add the ground later. Doing both in one visit means one trip, one trenching pass, one set of runs planned together, and a frontage that was designed as a whole rather than assembled over two seasons.
If the budget only stretches to one this year, do the roofline first. It is the bigger change and the ground can follow.
Permanent roofline lightingWhere it stands today: we can swap the bulbs in the landscape lights you already have for Minleon ones, so they run from the same app as the roofline. Full landscape installs are coming by spring. When we come out we will tell you what we would do, and you will have it in writing first.

Book a measure
Get a real number, not a guess
Lighting is priced off your actual roofline, so we come and measure it. Every house is a different length of run, a different number of gables, and a different climb. Anyone quoting you from a desk is guessing.
- We measure the roofline on site. That is the only way the number is real.
- You get the price in writing, with what it covers.
- No deposit to get a number, and no obligation after you have one.
